Youth & Schools Packages

Adventure Tours NI is pleased to offer new packages in 2007, specially put together for school and youth groups of all age groups. Let our professional staff help you choose from a wide range of options, with over 30 Land, Water and Air activities to enjoy including Team Building games and nightwalks.

Package Layout:

Day One:

Afternoon: Arrive with Adventure Tours NI and get settled into accommodation before preparing for your afternoon's activities. After enjoying a light lunch at a local restaurant, there will be a group briefing session before you commence your first activity:

Horse Riding - There are horses to suit all abilities of rider and on arrival, professional riding instructors will carefully match horses and riders. These instructors will also accompany you at all times during your trek in the beautiful countryside of Co. Tyrone.

Evening: After your afternoon's Horse Riding, enjoy an evening meal at a local restaurant (optional in the summer months: a BBQ at Adventure Tours NI accommodation). Return to accommodation and have the opportunity to make use of our Outdoor Hot Tub.

We will then take you to Bessie Bell Mountain for an evening trek where you will have an opportunity to spot wild deer whilst enjoying a walk which will take you around the outskirts of the forest.

Day Two:

Morning: After breakfast, commence group activities until lunchtime. (Please note: there are 2 different package layouts depending on age group):

Evening: After activities, enjoy an evening meal at a local restaurant (optional in the summer months: a BBQ at Adventure Tours NI accommodation). Return to accommodation and have the opportunity to make use of our outdoor hot tub.

Day Three:

Morning: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and choose between the following for your last activity:

Option A: Karting & Hamster Balling

This will consist of a Grand Prix session in state-of-the -art karts on an outdoor track. Lap times are electronically recorded and contenders will battle through a series of heats to reach a semi-final and final showdown determining an overall winner.

In addition, there is also a Hamster Ball activity where you will be strapped into a large, inflatable, transparent ball and rolled down a steep slope - not an activity for the faint-hearted but great fun!

Option B: Paintballing

This is the ultimate group activity combining teamwork, strategy, split-second timing and quick thinking. Armed with camouflage clothes and the latest equipment, players will be given full instructions by specially trained marshals. Attack or defend, the choice is yours.

Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning home.
